Experience

Over the years, I have learned the art of observation and meticulous study through the lens of the camera. I have discovered that Nature speaks to us constantly, and if we take the time to listen, we can understand its vocabulary. The more we understand, respect, and connect with Nature, the better off humanity will be. This planet Earth is our home and sustains the life of all living beings. The health of this planet must be a factor in every decision we make as individuals and as a group of societies. Doing otherwise is, ultimately, harming ourselves and all other species. The key is to observe the complexity and beauty that surrounds us every day, let it sink deep into our own being, and recognize our fundamental connection with it.

Inspiration

Traveling is a very important part of my life. In the last 23 years, I have traveled a lot. And during each trip I meet people who become my travel companions. All these colleagues have played a role in helping me discover myself. My travel destinations come to me intuitively, without much planning. In a dream, or in some other way, a message appears indicating when and where to go next. When the time comes, I pack my backpack and leave. I think I have to go to that place because there’s something I need to learn there. On each of my journeys, along the way, a fellow traveler appears, someone I’ve never met before, who has some meaningful idea to share with me. My destinations in recent years have included Peru, Bolivia, Spain, Mexico, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, Ecuador, France, Morocco and India.
